Biography of Linga Diko Linga Diko obtained a Diploma in Graphic Art (1995) and a Certificate in Textile Printing (2001) from the Dakawa Art and Craft Centre, Grahamstown. He also completed the first three training phases of Business Skills. Linga has executed a number of commissions, amongst others the Masifunda Education Project, Grahamstown (2001), Createsa (2003), and the Amakhala Game Reserve (2002-2005). In 2004 he received the Ampersand Foundation Fellowship award and was a finalist in the Brett Kebble Arts Award competition. He has exhibited widely in the Eastern Cape as well as in New York at the Stragow Gallery and at the Axis Gallery in 2005. He has served on Arts Councils in Grahamstown nad he taught at the Dakawa Art Centre in Grahamstown from 2002 until the Centre closed in 2008.
